Each shooter fires at 5 targets, one shot at each target. Two series (of 5 shots) are fired in 8 seconds each, after which the targets turn away. The next two series have to be fired in 6 seconds and the third set of two series have to be fired in 4 seconds each. After this the shooter gets a
break while a next shooter takes his or her place. Later the first shooter fires another 6 series. It is an Olympic event with 60 scoring shots and a maximum possible score of 600.
